Department of Technology Enablement and Commercial covers the topics of creating and introducing high class IT Solutions dedicated for all end users across Arla organizations worldwide (so in more than 30 countries), but also those ones dedicated for Commercial, Sales and Marketing areas. It could be for example implementing new trade investment tools, which allows us to optimize our promotion planning and align our business process from demand planning through logistics to investment evaluation. Helping to align our business processes. Our employees also focus on introducing new SAP/Salesforce related enhancements suggested by the business as relevant, and applying a cloud order management platform, which enables suppliers to easily manage inbound and outbound customer, supplier, co-packer and 3PL transactional processes.
On the other side, as mentioned above, we have teams working on new solutions, which are applicable for every end user working in Arla no matter who that might be: Accountant, Sales Manager or Production Planner. For sure everyone needs to work in a secure environment (protected by Antivirus and proper firewall services), with stable network (LAN, WAN, wireless) and data centre infrastructure (hardware upgrades and servers, Citrix platform, SQL databases), where different platforms and applications are properly integrated.
