The team of Application Services is a 2nd line support.
This team can be perceived as a kind of “bridge” connecting end users of plenty different applications with their specialist technical support. Currently Application Services team supports the functioning of over 300 different applications dedicated to few business areas such as Business Intelligence (e.g. PowerBI), HR (e.g. Kronos), Sales (e.g. Salesforce), Purchasing (e.g. Ariba) and many others. Guys working in this team are in constant contact with many external partners to ensure continuity of applications’ functioning in all Arla organizations, so in 35 countries all over world.
The team of Application Services is a 2nd line support, which means they step into action after ticket registration by IT Service Desk when providing a valuable solution for particular incident requires deeper expert knowledge of specified application. Those specialists are very often included in the testing phase of new functionalities finally introduced to Arla.
Application Services is a big, international team of experts (45+ persons) working in 2 main locations: Gdańsk and Viby. Interesting fact: the average length of employment here in this team is about 7 years!
